Children of the World supports educational programs, along with health and human services for the women, children and families of Africa. This project is located in Kimironko, a suburb of the capital city of Kigali, in Rwanda, Africa.
How your Donations Might Help Children in Rwanda, Africa ~ The need is so great. From school uniforms to books and school supplies to putting teachers in the classroom, there are a lot of necessities for education....and just where would a street-child obtain the money needed? Your dollars help.
• Parents and Families Children of the World focuses on small enterprise training, education and vocational training with adult literacy at its core. Micro-finance is encouraged to provide a self-sustained living.
• Maternal-Child Healthcare Education Encourages immunization, supplementation in micronutrients, growth monitoring and food supplementation, HIV/AIDS counseling and treatment, and preventing transmission of HIV from mother to child.

She is also suffering from HIV, but miraculously, despite hunger, she is doing well and none of her children have tested positive.
